Recruiting: Still tough to find good candidates
Staffing company expands to support local area businesses
The war
for talent continues to be a challenge for companies
in Fairfield, New Haven and Westchester counties.
As the baby boom generation retires, it will become
even more difficult to fill senior level positions
with the right candidiate. Read any business
magazine and more often than not, it has become
increasingly obvious that this is an issue that
every business owner struggles with across America. According to Indigo Partners, Inc President Veronica
Mollica, “This is exactly why we have decided
to expand our staffing services from I.T., to include
Accounting, Finance and Human Resources. Our clients
need to have top notch talent in strategic roles
in order to stay competitive and grow their businesses.
We help them to source the talent that is needed
in these key roles.”
“Employees are company assets and every company
wants employees that will stay with the company,
provide a solid work ethic, set the standards and
help grow the business. The struggle comes down to
the fact that there is a shortage of talent, and
yet mounting pressure from managers to find talent.
Recruiters have the advantage because they are able
to match the right candidate with the company culture,
environment and job description. Plus they have a
network of candidates and their candidates are a
great source of referrals” says 8 year veteran
recruiter Andy Awad, CPC, CIR.
The best candidates are not always found by searching
on job boards. “It’s about building relationships
and trust with a candidate. Sometimes it takes years
of talking with a top professional before they will
decide to make a career move.” The best recruiters
know that networking is the real key to recruiting
success according to Brett Ingram, Recruiter at Indigo
Partners, Inc, who has been recruiting for the past
5 years.
In order to remain competitive in an increasingly
global marketplace, employers will no doubt require
solid financial capital and tangible resources, but
the companies who will be the most successful will
be those with the strongest human capital and the
most effective talent acquisition model.
Indigo Staffing, LLC was founded in 2003 and recently
changed its name to Indigo Partners, Inc. Their goal
is to provide clients with outstanding service and
top notch candidates in the areas of I.T., Human
Resources, and Accounting & Finance.
